This dog was a sight to behold this afternoon!
It had been in some swampy ditch & smelt terrible!
The lady was on pet duty like me & the dog was due back at her daughters tomorrow. Apparently it’s been in that ditch previously! They never learn..
I warned Connie not to follow suit! 😳. We had a laugh!!
Three good things:
1. The roads are uncannily quiet…not surprising as fuel on average £2 a litre!
2. A lost plate has turned up! Took it to the party last week with a quiche on…I had forgotten.
3. An amazing tractor run last night….over 200 machines from tractors, large wagons, farm machinery, landrovers, vintage cars, local business delivery vans….all blowing their horns & lit up!
We weren’t back until late so I was lax with the commenting sorry.
The more I look at this silly dog - the more I want to laugh !! Poor lady she has a job on her hands before returning the pooch !
The price of everything is going alarmingly sky high isn't it - thank goodness I do not go very far in the car !! , and my food shopping seems to be going up substantially each week ! It will not surprise me if this is only the start of things to come !
Oh no poor lady!! That's a massive cleaning job she has!! I had to put diesel in my car today and it was scary how much it cost!! I won't be doing lots of driving down into Cornwall this year I think. It's just too expensive to just drive around sight seeing!!
I had a boarder collie that if it ran away from the house, would go up to the local farm and roll in the pig manure, what a sight and smell when it came home. It had to be hosed down in the back garden.

Yes crazy prices here as well.. The weekly groceries is like getting the Christmas shop every week..
Lovely tradition having a tradition like the tractor run for special memories.
Tractor event sounds a great spectacle.
