Sunday walk

Family round this afternoon so Cathy & I took Connie along the river walk.
Quite a chilly wind!
They stayed for a meal tonight & were here for the weekly phone call from NZ from Brian.

So much rain in Nz with terrible flooding.
Auckland airport is closed!

Rather sad times here just now as a young woman is missing…her spaniel dog has been found but no sign of Nicola missing since Friday morning,
The Coastguard were along the river bank in the distance….mountain rescue, drones etc but sadly no sign yet.

Sounds like a lovely walk even though it was chilly. Good that you could all have dinner and that they were there when you got the NZ phone call. So sad to hear about the floods. I hope there is good news on the missing lady.
