The Hawthorn is out!

We have Connie for three days as family at a wedding near Carlisle.
Today walk along the River Wyre at low tide.
In the distance are the fells of the Forest of Bowland.
A glorious day in this continuing dry sunny weather but I did notice today how dry & old the fields are looking.
We are getting desperate for rain.
