Ann Tysons Cottage. by happypat

Ann Tysons Cottage.

This is where William Wordsworth lodged while he was studying at Hawkhead Grammer School.
He of course is the author of the famous poem about Daffodils....very relevant at the moment with all the daffodils in full flower.

I wandered lonely as a cloud
that floats on high o'er vales & hills
When all at once I saw a crowd
A host of golden daffodils.

William Wordsworth.
how wonderfully delightful.. the yellow is gorgeous..!!

I love Wordsworth! And this cottage! I wonder who is Ann Tyson?

A typical Lakes cottage - just how I remember it. Our daffs are still only green shoots with a few buds.

That yellow door makes the composition and draws you into the photo.
