The rain clouds coming in from the north over the hills above Kirkby Lonsdale.
There is an odd line through the middle of this picture & I don't think it's a telephone wire although not on any other picture but I liked this one so just pretend it's a wire !!!
What a great view wit that menacing cloud! Sunshine and showers here as well as some big hailstones - proper April weather! You could easily clone out that 'wire' with Picnik or Picmonkey if it's annoying you.
@happypat It's almost identical with different names and a few extra effects. Exactly the same way of using it though - it's amazing that when Google bought Picnik they didn't stop them making almost exactly the same thing again!
Such a lovely view and a marvelous capture of the encroaching storm, Pat. @judithg ~ Picmonkey is new to me. I'm going to check that out! I've been mourning the approaching end of Picnik.
Pat, i don't know what your horizontal lines are, it might be a fault on your sensor or a write error to your memory card.
You could try reformatting your card at some point (it deletes all images off your card so make sure you have copied them all to your pc)
I'd keep an eye put for them appearing again on other images. They might be noticeable in this shot because the sky is quite white / light. Try taking some images of just a white background (a card / sheet) and see if they reappear
That teeny line doesn't distract me at all, Pat! What pulled my eye right in was that gorgeous "crooked tree silhouette!" Such a beautiful composition. Love the clouds and the lighting.
@phil_howcroft Thanks Phil I will do that. I did take some other shots & no line on them even though the sky was grey , Will have to ask Lydia if there is a telephone line in front of her friends house !!!! I will keep an eye on that tomorrow !!
