It is always interesting at your place, Pat! A picture of you having coffee round your table is just so! I never visited this castle so great to see it. Is that black iron thingie a portcullis? Think I might get one for our front door!
@maggiemae@maggiemae ha ha you are funny maggiemae.....it is a portcullis I think....I could do with one at the moment too! So busy today coming & going I am sure Alex thinks we're mad! I actually prefer this picture to my main one but didn't want poor Alex in each one...so just the castle on its own there.
@happypat no we didn't, we just had a quick look to see if there was anything happening after we had been carol singing with the Samaritans and then went for a walk down behind the castle
eeeek it is a prison too Pat. Ohhh and you have been caught on video / CCTV taking your shot (top left hand corner underneath the impressive iron squares)
