Nice capture of her being busy with cooking. It looks remarkable tidy for a cooking scene. Lovely homely kitchen feel. Like the soft front focus, I guess that is your new lens.
@jennywren yes you are right Jen...I really like it but not practised with it much yet. A very simple recipe which doesn't take much messing with...bung it all in a bowl together sort of recipe!
@cejaanderson you are like me Jane I love looking at other people's houses! Can you see that framed poem....it's called The Kitchen Prayer & has been in my kitchen for years & years.
The light coming from under the cupboard is actually very good. Enough to show the face and figure but giving it a soft look. She's using the microwave to make her biscuits!
@judithg funny because our hens are laying as if it was mid summer....four or five eggs a day from five hens! I have some hyacinth bulbs in that bowl & stuck some bits of holly with berries on round the edge....bits we hadn't used. You can see the red berries.
Lovely domestic scene. Noticed the blue and white pottery in the background. Is that original T G Green? We have a T G Green salt jar, bought about 46 years ago for a shilling. I saw one on eBay recently for 120 pounds. It has become very popular again now.
@onewing yes sharp eyes Babs....all T G Green, I have lots of it, some given to me by one of my B&B guests in exchange for three nights stay. The dresser has some very old pieces, I do like it every much still. Salt jar will be old too.
