A very sporty morning in Taupo as kids of all ages took part in the junior Ironman event.
Max aged six did the splash n dash event which entailed running through the water at the edge of the lake then running about 600 metres to the finish line.
Max has the T-shirt, wristband & a certificate.
There were kids from around 80 schools competing in all different triathlons for every age up to fifteen.
Brilliant fun..sets them up for life starting young too...as long as they enjoy it too..that's the main thing..our Matthew is an athlete..runs marathons and other fell runs ...some for charity..loves it..
