Elm tree

Just a photo for anyone who passed comment on our elm tree yesterday.
We only just discovered it was an Elm after the garden man had been.
We have decided to prune it a bit & are hoping perhaps to have one of those benches all round the trunk.

Such a wonderful specimen tree - it will be good to tame and trim it a little and an ideal spot for your your round the tree seating! -- I can just imagine it !

Nice to see your home behind the tree. A seat like this would be great but really any sort of seat - cup of tea in the morning in the sun!

You can see here some of the overgrown beds....dead brambles etc...lots if lovely grass but the borders are wild! Three round beds in the middle will be put to grass...I only want shrubs round the edge & lots of trees.

A real elm - wow! Memories of Dutch Elm Disease as a child and have never seen an elm since. This is glorious.
