This tiny blue flower is around 5 cms & very beautiful.. an air plant is a very specialised form of bromeliad. The roots are not really very important for conducting nutrients & water - they're most important for holding on to a plant or a tree or a rock, they need just the right amount of air, water and sunlight, they like a lot of sun & if you can provide the right balance, these plants will look brilliant for months on end & plants will last for years.
