Cyclists pedaling up Pikes Peak Highway near the top of Pikes Peak (elevation 14110 ft). They are my heroes! That is such a tough ride! We are on a hiking trail up above the road hiking to the top. We were hiking up the Devil's Playground Trail which goes up the back side of Pikes Peak This was my family's first time hiking this trail. It is 6.8 miles up and another 6.8 back down. Last September I hiked the other side up on the Barr Trail which is 13 miles up and took the cog railway down. Both are beautiful and tough hikes. Thanks for stopping by.
