This photo shows some of the rock formations in an area called Devil's Playground on the hike up to Pikes Peak. It is called this because in lightening storms many times the lightening will hit one rock and bounce to others. Clouds and storms brew up very fast in this area so if you are hiking you always need to start early before the afternoon storms and be aware of the weather and where you are. Thank you for putting "Snow in July" on the PP. I was very excited! :)!
