1, 2, 3 Jump!

Pirates Cove is a deep pool in the mountains where you can jump off the rocks into the water. There are 3 places to jump of various heights. The highest is from the top of the rocks to the right. This was on Annie's summer bucket list. This is her jumping from the shortest height. She jumped just slightly above where she is in the photo at about the height of the boys (I wouldn't let her do the higher ones--don't think she wanted to any way, thank goodness). Doesn't look like it in the photo, but there were a fair number of people there the day we went. Thank you for viewing. I am very behind in viewing, so sorry. I will catch up this weekend.

The water must feel good after hiking to get there. I love the way her hair is straight up in the air!

beautiful spot! we just had a gal jump off a rock by a waterfall here and not resurface. The warning signs are constantly being torn down, as the rock below juts out beneath the water so it can be quite dangerous if you don't land just right at this NC spot. This one looks safer ~ congrats to Annie and being able to scratch it off her bucket list :)
