Coming in for a Landing!

The Canadian geese flew right over my head coming in for a landing in the pond. I wish I was quick enough to have captured them as they flew right over me. This is the center of the small mountain town of Green Mountain Falls. Thanks so much for putting "Splash of Yellow" on the PP! :)!

We've heard we can hear them before we see them, so sometimes we're lucky. I light that they are in flight about to splash.

@cejaanderson So true, Jane! I could hear them and as usual I get really excited. I start bumbling in a hurry with my camera and miss the best shot! LOL! My family always laughs that I am soooo slow!

Great shot of them. Birds and insects are always too fast for me. I like the way they are landing but I also like the way the houses and road wind up the hill
