This is a beautiful canyon by Glenwood Springs, CO. There is a bike path that follows the river for 16 miles that is wonderful to ride on. This time we were in our car. Thanks for viewing.
when this highway was under construction i was driving to the front range about once a week. you could always count on being delayed for an hour, maybe more. if you have to wait i can't think of a better place!
Charlie and I want to take our tandem to Moab to visit our son and ride along the Colorado River there (great bike path there through cliffs). Anyway, we've been discussing this photo and finding it on a map to see if we could include it. So beautiful and inviting!
@cejaanderson You would love it Jane! Going towards Glenwood Springs from the East is downhill ( you can get a bus ride with bike back to parking area) from Glenwood Springs or bike both ways.
