Wildflower Buds

I tried to find the name of this plant/flower but could not find anything that looked like this without seeing the whole flower. I thought this plant looked very interesting. Thank you for viewing. If anyone knows what this might be, I'd love to know.

Looks a bit like Ragwort. Fascinating short to see the structure in such detail.

@jokristina. Thank you, Jo! I looked up Ragwort, and we did see these flowers on our hike! There just weren't any blooming near these buds so I didn't realize they were the same! I was excited to find this out!
