We saw a few groups of pronghorns as we were leaving Philmont Scout Ranch heading towards Raton, NM. I always love seeing them. We have them near us in Colorado too. They are not technically related to antelope but they do look similar. Thank you for viewing. Best on black.
Love this shot - brought back lots of memories. On our drive from Arkansas to Grand Junction I'd always keep count of the number of antelope we'd pass between Texline and Raton - 247 was the highest if I remember. Made the trip go faster and they're such pretty animals.
