Happy 4th of July to those in the US! The small town just to the north of us, Monument, CO, has a wonderful Independence Day celebration with a 5K run, pancake breakfast, parade, street fair, and fireworks (which have been cancelled this year due to our high fire danger right now). I always look forward to it. These are the elephants and people from the Renaissance Fair. They always are part of the parade unless the 4th falls on a weekend, and they are working. We haven't been to the parade in a few years because we've been on vacation then. It was good to see it again. Thank you for viewing!!
