There were fifty sculptors at the symposium in Marble, CO with work areas set up like this all along the creek. Some of the sculptors made their living selling their pieces, others it was a hobby. It was very interesting to walk along their work areas and talk with them. When I took this photo, they were listening to an instructor in another area. Thanks so much for viewing.
It always fascinates me how artists carve beautiful objects out of lumps of rock ! I would love to watch these people at work ....... or even better try the carving for myself.
