We hiked Quandry Peak today one of Colorado's 14'ers. It is 14,265 ft high and is a 6.7 mile hike. It is either all uphill or all downhill with an elevation gain of 3,339 ft. If you look closely there is a mountain goat center right. This is from the top above tree line. My husband is doing well recovering from pneumonia so he stayed and held down the camp. Thank you for viewing
A fabulous photo. I feel like I can see forever. I kept enlarging the picture until I could see the goat! That is quite a hike. Was that round trip or one way? We used to hike but can't anymore and I do miss it so much because of the rewards like this one. Glad you get to enjoy and thank you for sharing! fav
@stownsend Thank you,Suzi! I am glad you found the goat! I was wondering if he was too small to see. It was 6.7 miles round trip and felt hard with all the up and downhill. The view was fantastic!
What a fabulous view - especially when viewed on black. It's almost like I'm there. That was quite a hike - but to see this would make it worth while. Fav
So very beautiful, especially viewed on the black background. Love that there is a goat too! That is quite a hike. We took one that long in the spring, and this summer, I lost two of my toenails as a result.
This is a great view
