@janeandcharlie. Jane, I was thinking of you as we were here. We did the same hike. Knew you had been in the area from your Caldera photo. I will be posting a few shortly. I have always been in awe of the Caldera, but when we lived in Albuquerque (22 yrs ago) it was a private ranch. I was so excited to see it is now a national preserve and that you can go on it. It is such a beautiful area. I was excited to see your photo of it. At the time, I did not know we would be camping up there! 😀
