Körbergasse by harvey

Körbergasse

This is Körbergasse in Aachen, which means 'Lane of the basket makers' in German. There is still one basket maker on the street which was once filled with them (you can see a small pile of baskets in the street). It is a really picturesque small street in the Aachen town center. My favorite bar in Aachen the Domkeller is also right on the corner here, which may be one reason I like Körbergasse so much! You can see people sitting out front of the Domkeller in the background, and you also see the Choir hall of the Aachen Cathedral in the background.

Lastly, since the people are window shopping outside the basket shop, I figured this would fit this weeks theme, look but don't touch.
Thanks for your comment on my photo "Refreshing Rain." Never used a macro lens for any of my photos. Love the work you are doing too! :)
