I was having breakfast with Anne this morning and kept thinking to myself, man those are some great clouds out there! Well a few minutes later I just had to jump up and grab a shot. Low effort for my today but I really like the colors.
So some folks have asked about our trip home. We are first going to spend about 5 days in Grand Rapids michigan where Anne's younger brother is getting married. Then its back to the little tiny town of Barker, NY on lake Ontario about an hour east of Buffalo. Both of our families are from there and we will spend two weeks relaxing and catching up with family and friends we haven't seen in two years. Then its off to Houston, Texas for me where I will spend a week at a science conference. I get back to Aachen on the 22nd of Oct.
We will be staying with my folks who have a great place they built 6 years ago on an old farm with tons of great photo ops! There is unfortunately no internet out in the boonies, so I will be waiting to upload my daily shots until I get some internet somewhere.
I am planning on upgrading my really old Rebel with a new 60D when we get to the states next week! I went to the shop in Aachen today and test drove one and I am really excited about getting it, it seems really nice and just fits in my hand beautifully and all the quick setting buttons, so many possabilities!

Hey Welcome to my state (for a while) The colors here are beautiful already. upstate NY should be also. We still have dial-up internet also. Mobile hotspot with our phone helps greatly.
