On Saturday Anne and I had three of our friends over for what turned out to be a really great dinner. We have all rented a cabin in the Alps in Switzerland for a week in June, in tiny little car free town called Gimmelwald. This was a chance for our friends Rob and Christine from Aachen to meet our friend Michelle, who recently moved to Maastricht nearby. After dinner we got out the info the man renting the house sent us with the confirmation recently and got excited about the future trip. It was a great night and everyone really hit it off. It is going to be a great week of vacation, too bad I have to wait 4 more months for it!
Sounds like a great evening...what a wonderful adventure to look forward to...we, also are starting to plan our little camping trips...AND look forward to nicer warmer weather...
So glad you are taking advantage of exploring the area while you are assigned abroad. Sounds like a great place to go, the future anticipation will mak it more enjoyeable! Nice shot. Love the Canon 60D, produces really nice sharp shots.
The planning and anticipation are half the fun. Sounds like it should be wonderful and how nice to have this picture to remember the beginning of the journey with.
