The journey through Rainbow Week is over as we arrive at violet. We could go further but there is nothing really to see at ultra-violet. Tomorrow we will look back at our holiday snaps and remember the last week, but for today, representing 'vain' is my Boss BF-2 Flanger, that I have owned for more years than I can remember.
My apologies to Ben, who had the flanger idea first, and I mercilessly stole from him (actually, I did ask him first), but it fitted so well with the rest of my week that I couldn't resist it. They hold together fairly well, stylistically, but better still they all represent different facets of me...
- Red is a car mirror, representing my interest in old cars.
- Orange is a classic radio representing my CDs, radios and jukebox
- Yellow is a highlighter pen representing sat in an office for 1/3 of my life
- Green is a bank of hard disks representing IT and computers
- Blue is Sam's toy dinosaur my children and family
- Indigo is a cutting mat representing photography and photo finishing
- Violet is a flanger representing my guitars and music.
I am just missing a curry, cheesecake and a pint of ale, and the house/garden and you have the full set. Well, maybe a few other things too.
