The sky was glowing in golden orange hues this evening for about 5 minutes. Everywhere that the failing sunlight touched had a warm glow about it. I picked up a camera and fired off a couple of shots from Sam's bedroom window, but then it was gone. No time to look for an interesting foreground or silhouette.
