We drove over to the TriumFest today. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't take the Spitfire, but 4 into 2 seats simply won't go.
One thing that I wanted to work out was whether I should put some Spitfire 1500 badges back on my car as would have been there originally. I have never been to worried about their absence, as I think they are a bit too much. Originally they had silver ones on the dark coloured cars, and black on the lighter colours, making them stand out. I have toyed with the idea of putting silver ones on as, on a pale blue car, it might look more subtle.
Whilst I was there I took a few photos of the badges on other cars for the record, and liked this one with the Vitesses reflected in the bodywork.
