Doodle a day #252: After having copied a whole load of CD and floppy disks on an old laptop yesterday I came to copy them onto a network share, only to realise that the laptop not only lacked wi-fi, but also lacked an ethernet port, and Windows ME refused to talk to any other USB devices including several USB sticks and external writable CD drives, without correct drivers etc. I eventually found a USB stick that Windows ME would talk to so I got the files off.
