Station of Warsaw Cross-City Line by haskar

Station of Warsaw Cross-City Line

The railway runs in the tunnel under the city and partly in the excavation. The station buildings were designed by the architect Arseniusz Romanowicz in the years 1958–1963. At a time when it was possible to build only straight and soaringly he designed a series of station buildings based on curves. At now the charm of architecture is disappearing in the urban mess.
What an amazing design! Especially at the time when it epuld have been so very different from everything around it. Superb!

Really like how you caught all these diagonal shapes and the how the people are so balanced through the shot. So well done.

Interesting shapes, love the controversy of modern and the old fashion stand in front of the triangle shape roof!

I like the bold likes of the striped roof in contrast with the lines of the skyscraper going up in the background. Nice black and white candid.
