This is a piece of Barbican. During the II WW destroyed and partly rebuilt after the war. Such old new.

Great shot- the tilt makes you look over and over again. It's probably possible to straighten it in post-processing but I think doing that would "ruin" the picture. The play between those strong dark areas and the texture of the brick is excellent.

I rather like the every which way of the lines in this shot. Why wasn't it completely rebuilt?

@golftragic The Barbican is completely rebuilt. The outer defensive walls were not rebuilt. Instead of very poor buildings, a walking alley was created.
