I met these gentlemen flowing up the river. It was quite unusual because usually everyone flows down. They said that they have this ritual. First up the river so much that they get tired and then the current can take them away.

@olivetreeann I wasn't with them. I stood on the shore and practiced reflections on the water when suddenly the boys emerged. For me, it's a little framed. I especially lack the whole figure in reflection. It was the first shot, without preparation. The next ones were better framed but the light was worse. And additionally, the kayaker was as surprised as I was. On the others, there is no expression on the face.

the light is great in this shot yes. I thought at fist you too were in a kayak, desperately trying to paddle back to stay still and take the photo at the same time. relieved to find you were on the bank.
