I always thought that these were pretty and the fruit interesting because of the hole in the middle. This has lovely contrasts - the red and green colors and the sharp needles vs the sleek rounded fruit.

Yes, they are attractive. When my youngest was 3 years old, she ate a whole bunch of them. (She was fine after we emptied her stomach.)
