Brr, it's cold!

I was at the Zoo today. This pelican seems a little chilled. I was very close to him. He sat puffed up and watched.

Yes, he does look a little chilly. He also looks a little pink- I wonder if it's like the flamingos who are pink because of the shellfish they eat. Great shot! You can feel his shivers.

Wonderful closeup with exceptional detail. I like the unusual pose. I didn't know that there was such a thing as pink pelicans but, after looking it up, I see that there are. Fav for sure.
