Baking under the Sickle Moon by hasselhotch

Baking under the Sickle Moon

Well not quite baking, only really had to melt chocolate.
Well what a hectic day, I taught a full set of 6 lessons and had no breaks because of people in for detentions and having to copy exams that were already supposed to be prepared, then after school I had to prepare for the next day and head straight to Jen's school to see her school play 'We Will Rock You'
From that I went to the supermarket to buy ingredients to make these 'Easter Nests' for my classes in years 12 and 13 as tomorrow will be the last time I see them before the holiday and they have lots of work to do to prepare for their upcoming oral exams. Also 2 students in my year 12 class have been named head boy and girl for next year so I want to congratulate them.
Anyway it seemed a little strange to be doing 'baking' at 11pm but as the title suggests the moon was gorgeous this evening and Jupiter and Venus were really clear too and I could see them as I made these nests.

Anyway, if you are still reading, rant over and thanks for looking! :)

Simple, melt chocolate in a bowl and mix in some cereals (I used shredded wheat but cornflakes or rice krispies work just as well) then put the mix into some bun cases and top with chocolate eggs. I always remember making them when I was little and feeling like I was doing proper baking.
