I went to town tonight to see how the flooding was and I thought it might be interesting to get some night shots, maybe reflections on the river etc. When I got there I found that there was a lot more river than usual and I couldn't get to a lot of the places I wanted to. The swans in the swan sanctuary were very happy though swanning about all important since their domain had increased in size. Hope you all like this picture.
Will catch up looking at people's work very soon but work is crazy at the moment and I have been out past my bedtime so I need sleep now!
@iqscotland Thank you, yes that is correct. All of my photographic intentions were foiled by the murky waters of the Severn. I had planned to go along the path and get shots of the cathedral reflected in the river.

A fav for me! love this David.....its so serene and dreamy, there's something romantic about it too =) really lovely, id love to do more night shots but im doing bath and bedtime with the little fella most nights!

This is great, for allt he reasons already stated! I knew there were lots of flood warnings in place but didn't know anyhwere had actually flooded yet.
This is amazing, like a shot in a movie or something. Wonderful light source and oh the swan just takes the cake. Congrats on the PP. hOpe the water goes down soon.
