August Photo a day - Simple
A seed that was floating around the garden. When I was little we would see these caught in cobwebs and mothers told their children that they were fairies and if we set them free we could make a wish. So this seed reminded me of simple childhood pleasures and dreams.
super idea for 'simple' and I like the write-up too about simple childhood pleasures... I never lost those childhood pleasures, I still find joy in the smallest of things because life is much more fun that way!
Ah those days of simple pleasures.... saw one the other day and knew I had to do something with it but could only think of a dandelion clock... next time I'll know and I'll make a wish :) Sweet shot
I posted a shot of these a while back. We called them kisses and if we caught one, we said they were from a boy, then we made a wish, kissed it and blew it back to him.
