I spent today washing sand out of every piece of clothing the boys wore on our trip to the beach this weekend - and even some they didn't... So I thought I would post a picture of how gorgeous sand can really look when it isn't just stuck in the waistband of a bathing suit. These are the dunes at Marconi Beach, Wellfleet MA - Cape Cod. I loved the way the sand made such a nice contrast with the colorful umbrellas and the blue cloudless sky. Darn near perfect - ok, maybe not the picture - but definitely the day...
