Rest

I think this is the first picture I've posted that I've used the "antique" filter with. Usually I am such a fan of bright colors that I can't bring myself to mute them. But this shot seemed to call for it for some reason. The scene itself has a very old fashioned feel to it, with a wooden swing in a nice old tree and all... If you heeded the sign and sat on this bench you would have the same view of the mountain I mentioned in my picture two days ago (providing the fog is gone that is.) So if you ever see this tree, I suggest you do what it says and rest...

The antique filter works very well with this timeless image. I love the "rest" sign on the tree. :-)

Muted colors...Brilliant image and composition! I just love the notion of this location and that someone so cleverly posted that sign! Perfect idea for a photo to share with us all...because we all could use that once in awhile!
