I am down to my last filler picture of the year. David gave me this journal as a gift shortly after our oldest was born. I was supposed to use it to record important information, funny things the kids did, deep "Mom" thoughts..... I am sad to say there is not a single word written in this book. I am TERRIBLE at keeping a journal - I always have been. If my childhood diaries ever made it out of the month of January it was a minor miracle!! So needless to say, I am now and will always be amazed that I managed to keep a journal - this 365 journal - going for an entire year. When I started, I fully expected the idea to fade into the sunset like so many of my other attempts at recording posterity.... But for some reason, this forum worked for me. The idea of telling a story through pictures stayed interesting. I can't say it was easy - and my pictures certainly aren't on par with a lot of the wonderfully talented people on this site. But I have created a journal - a photo journal that I am immensely proud of! I can now look back on last year and remember what a wonderful, wonderful year it has been - one day at a time. I cannot thank 365 and its amazing members enough. This has been a really terrific experience. I'm so glad I decided to give this a try. Of course, whether or not I could do it again....remains to be seen! :-)
