Tonight was Open House for the 2nd grade parents at the Primary School. It was a busy day but I had every intention of taking a picture of something cute and "2nd graderish" while I was inside. But then I had to "design" a bookmark for my son - and the effort of being creative proved too much for me. (It has been a mere 35 years since I had to be as creative as a 2nd grader...) So I forgot all about a picture until I stepped out of the school into the evening. I turned around and found this waiting for me and I couldn't resist. It is another fairly terrible picture - my theme for the week apparently. It mostly just looks like the school is on fire... But between the flag at half staff and the eerie light, on this day of all days, I decided it worked.
Wow...that really DOES work! I was hoping for a representative 911 photo for the day as well. I took many...and this small town had flags lining the streets. That sky is something else! I like the photo!
