We banished the boys from the house today because a.) It was a beautiful Indian Summer day outside and they shouldn't waste it. b.) Football was on TV and we needed to put an end to the whining about when they could play the Wii again... And c.) KIDS SHOULD GO OUTSIDE! PERIOD!! IT WAS GORGEOUS....
There was a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth but eventually they got the hang of it. I took this picture surreptitiously through the kitchen window because I didn't want them to know that I actually caught them having fun... My husband and I stood there watching them get along. We don't know how much longer they will want to hang out together - as much as we would like it to be forever - so we feel the need to appreciate every moment we snag....
