Today is my wedding anniversary with David. 13 years! Our plans for the day got sidetracked by the real world, a sick kiddo, ridiculously cold temps, not to mention being inconveniently scheduled on a Monday - trash day! But after schlepping the can down to the road with frozen fingers, on the way back up I caught sight of this tree, my tree, absolutely ablaze in the morning sun. It may not have been the anniversary of my dreams, but it was a wonderful day full of love, surrounded by the family we have grown from the roots we planted. It doesn't get any more gorgeous than that.... :-)
