It has taken me 44 years, but I have finally come up with a good reason to be up earlier in the morning than I'd like. The Middle School hosted a breakfast this morning before school for all the kids who made honor roll this past quarter and their parents. I was very happy to join Finn for the event. He made High Honors (straight A's) so I was extremely proud - and it more than made up for the weird things trying to pass as breakfast sausages... I don't recall if they did this sort of thing when I was his age. Then again, ahem, I wouldn't have been invited even if they did!! :-) Proud, proud Mama!
