Finn, my oldest is running track for his Middle School for the first time this Spring. Middle School Track is an adventure in and of itself most of the time, and Finn has never been what you might call the most competitive kid in the class. But something about the hurdles just seems to work for him. His form is improving with every meet and he somehow manages to win his heats even with his tongue hanging out. (I told him he's like the Michael Jordan of Middle School Track... ;) Best of all though is he seems to really like it! Be still this proud Mama's heart....
(Little chilly at the meet today - in case you couldn't tell... Aerodynamics were not much of a priority!)
Great action shot! Nice that Finn is enjoying track--I loved watching track, but then I love most kids sports (swim meets, not so much. . .) It's neat to see them improve.
