We now have at least four Catbirds visiting our feeders and making a lot of noise vying for dominance in our yard. Generally I like watching them - they have a lot of personality for a bird. But I'm starting to wonder if they're not big bully boys in the bird world. Today, David and I saw one fly up and take a chunk of suet right out of the mouth of a stunned red-bellied woodpecker!! Never seen anything like it.... :-}
