The foliage around here so far is pretty much nonexistent this year. It's a little weird to realize it is already October but yet we are still surrounded by nothing but green leaves. The part of me that doesn't want Winter is just fine with this false hope of eternal moderate temps - but the part of me that loves Fall - and all the gorgeous colors that come with it is feeling a little disconcerted... My biggest fear is that all these lovely green leaves are just going to curl up and turn brown overnight - and then it will snow...endlessly.... Come to think of it, I'll take the green! ;-)
