For his Geography class, Finn has to bring in a food from another country tomorrow. Seemingly at random, he decided to pick Romania... (?!?!) Don't we all love the culinary treasures of Romania?... Luckily they have a dessert cookie that is like a version of gingerbread made from honey and spice called Turta Dulce. (Thank you Google!) We decided to give it a try and Finn had a grand time cutting them into little Christmasy shapes. He did most of the work himself and did a great job.....maybe went a literal liberal with the flour but hey - it was worth it in the end. They are pretty tasty. :-)
