I couldn't be there because I had to wait for the new stove to be delivered but this morning Finn took part in the 7th grade Geography Bee at school and won the day!! Luckily David was there to see it (and admitted that he would have gotten two of the last three questions wrong - as opposed to Finn who aced them all!) but he is not one to excessively document such things in pictures like I would - so I had to pose Finn later in front of the other high point of my day - the new stove - to get my fix. So proud of him. And so happy with my shiny new appliance. A very good day here. :-)
Holly! What an exciting day you had! To us, the family photographers, it's hard to understand how someone can attend a special event and NOT take a photo! But you recovered nicely with the picture and got a darned nice consolation prize for the day as well! You'll enjoy using that one!
Way to go, Finn! He looks happy. And I LOVE your new stove! We don't have gas in our area, so I'm stuck with electric, but next time I move, I want one like this.
