Recently a client of mine was telling me how excited she was that she would soon be babysitting her new Grandbaby overnight. Discussing what equipment she should get, I mentioned that I probably still had my old pack n' play from the boys - now gathering dust in the attic. I offered it to her happily without a second thought. But when I set it up to make sure it was still usable, I was surprised at how verklempt I became at the thought of giving it away and never seeing it again.... Don't worry, I'm not that irrational - or that much of a hoarder (yet..) but I did insist the boys pose for a picture in front of it for posterity before I packed it up. Everyone says it goes by too fast when you're raising kids - and everyone is right!! I truly cannot believe that these big handsome boys were ever those tiny gorgeous bundles I remember putting inside this crib. Part of me wants those days and those little bundles back... Ah well, this crib has certainly served me well. I have to admit I'm sad to see it go, but I'll be happy if it gives others the chance for all the great memories it has given me... :-)
