Probably like most people, I am having trouble finding things to smile about these days. So I've decided to stay in full-on Mom mode and fawn over my kids a little more. They are my life and I want more than anything for them to be safe and happy. I don't know why that idea seems so hard these days...

Read Better Angels of Our Nature. It will make you feel better. It's an intriguing analysis of how violence has decreased in humans. It was, however, written before Leading Through Twitter.
